It's officially 18 months today and Miss Lily is looking more and more like a little girl instead of my sweet little baby. Where, Oh Where does the time go?? She has become increasingly difficult to photograph these days because she does not sit still. Just when you make enough noise to get her looking in the right direction, she gets easily distracted.
We have been spring cleaning lately and helping Grace get through all of her miscellaneous boxes spread throughout our house. The other day she found a box with some old stuffed animals in it and out popped a little worn sheep/goat. Grace decided that it was time to get rid of it and gave it to Lily. It has been permanently attached to her since.
I asked her what its name was and without missing a beat she said "Jackie." This little sheep has now become as important as the Gzhee gzhee, Boo boo and Bible. She literally walks around the house calling for Jackie. Its simply precious.
Lily has her own language these days and a quickly growing vocabulary as well. She calls diapers, "Didos" and her juice "Deedo." Outside is "Iy" and thank you is "goo goo." She is simply a doll and it is so much fun to watch her learn.
I have started to care for a little girl named Sophie Grace for the past couple of weeks. She is a few months younger than Lily and a sweet little thing. Lily is adjusting fairly well to having to share her Mommy. The first couple of days she really had a hard time, but has been doing better and better. I took the girls running and WOW, pushing two is a lot more challenging than pushing one. Whew.
The past month has been filled with learning to give kisses, swimming, riding the carousel and talking up a storm. Bob and I simply cannot believe that she is 6 months away from being 2!
Lastly, I have been fairly quite on the stuff going on in our family, just trying to wait for some answers. Hopefully they will be coming soon!
Awww!!! She's so precious!
