The Last of 2021

Y'all, its been a hella busy year and especially a busy Fall.  I will not let this blog fade into the distance, but you are going to get a lump sum of pics here to finish up our 2021.

2022 is quite literally mere hours away and I am feeling all of the feels. Good feels, but feels about letting go and starting new tomorrow.  I am hopeful.

As I enter 2022 its going to be the year of backbending for me.  I am determined to do the work necessary to finding space in this place.  I am running again and trying to find a balanced place with it all.  Gonna start this next year going a little more plant based and really looking forward to expanding my yoga practice.

I was introduced to the beauty of a yoga sound bath this month and CANNOT wait to do it again in a couple of weeks.  You literally set up camp with your pillow and blankie and then become immersed in beautiful sound.  Oh its pure magic.

The girls spent the month of December having Christmas spirit days at school.  They are both so cute in red and green!

We discovered an awesome new drawing youtube channel.

And I got a free large Dutch bros. ( if you know me you know).

Evie Bee is going through some testing to hopefully give us some direction about her health and cough.  2022 could be an interesting year on the diet front......The Bee handled the blood draw with bravery.

Meanwhile Lily nearly passed out from being her support (so like me when I was her age).

We had breakfast with my brother and took pictures by bunnies in Tempe.....

Ellie and I ran lots of early mornings.

The girls and I got to take a trip to The Poisoned Pen to pick up Memaw and my new signed Outlander book!

And the cutest thing is that Ellie got ducks....lots of ducks for Christmas.  She how has a whole gaggle of them that she watches over.  Its the best.

So long 2021! You were a good year, but I am not sad to see you go!

Merry Gymnastics Meet

Evei Bee had her first every gymnastics meet.  How cute is she?  This little girl absolutely loves gymnastics and I am so excited to see where it will take her.

We are working to find just the right spot for her to really thrive and are looking forward to watching her succeed.

Evie participated in the vault and the bars during her meet and loved every second.

Here's to seeing just what this little girl can do!

Sadie Sue joins the party.

We headed up to the mountains again this year for a Christmas in Vernon.  We are currently working on purchasing a new vehicle (what a journey that has been!) but it isn't here yet and we got to strap on the Prius backpack for another adventure.  We love this car.

I took a big break up over the holidays and it was wonderful eventhough I regret a little bit not taking all the photos.  I did document a bit of what we were up to.

The most exciting thing this year was meeting miss Sadie!  After Mom and Dad lost their Aussie, Skittles, they quickly rebounded with this little ball of biting fluff.  Everyone meet Sadie!  Such a cute, sweet, all puppy puppy.  We all had a wonderful Christmas playing with her, watching Ellie take her on, and cuddling non stop with her.

If you were on the floor you were in Sadie territory and she was all over you.  It was so much fun and we all worked hard to keep her occupied chewing and biting the right things.

When we weren't playing with the puppy, we were either running....

Doing science experiments.......... building legos.........reading new books..........

Doing yoga.......

Or building the "tiny" home my Uncle will be living in!

Speaking of..........what a story we have for you.  After working tirelessly for 2 days finishing walls and putting up trusses, we went from this amazing structure........

To this when the crazy winds up there blew it right over one night.  Talk about a set back!  All of us were just very grateful that no one was under it when it happened.  God is Good!  And last I heard the walls were once again back up.

Our time in the mountains was short, but full of fun, puppy snuggles, puzzles, movies, a few sleepless nights, and YES, Santa did find his way in the wind.  It was a very merry Christmas.
