Our trip to California didn't stop at Legoland! The next couple of days we spent out on Balboa Island! What a fantastic place for everyone. We got to ride the Auto Ferry across to the island and the kids all thought it was so cool that our car was riding a boat!
We couldn't get past the old time Ferris Wheel and all of us piled on for a few loops around the wheel. It was a blast and all of the kids has so much fun.
On our second day to the island we got to go on a whale watching cruise. Sadly we didn't see any whales, but we saw a huge pod of dolphins and it was so cool. Many of the mothers had little babies with them that swam their little hearts out and gave us all a show.
Of course no day was complete without time at the beach and Uncle Bob became the hero to the big kids when they celebrated a successful wave jumping day with personal cake!
We really loaded them all up with sugar when we brought them home, attempted to give them a nutritious meal and then brought out the s'mores stuff. Gosh its fun to be a kid!
