Our Great California Adventure has been on the books really since last summer. We all couldn't wait to meet Aunt Darcie, Uncle Brent, Nathan, Jessie, Zach, Grandma Jill, Grandpa Steve, Aunt Sue, Uncle Bill, and Michael! It was a great family reunion and we have been anxiously waiting. The four of us Longmire's road tripped ourselves to LA and right off the bat, all of the cousins instantly budded up!
The kids took a brief moment out of their playtime to snag a picture with Grandma and Grandpa. There is no doubt about it. We have some incredible Grandparents in our life!
These two girls were so much fun! Not only are they nearly spitting images of one another, but they acted like twins the entire week. They lived in each other's clothes and were nearly inseperable everywhere we went. Evie smiled so big and together you watched them just love every second.
This friendship is going to stand the test of time. So special.
The two big kids are on a whole different level, but fast friends without doubt. They spent a lot of their time playing UNO and talking all things big kid. I love that their friendship came back so easily and I will just say, Lily and Nathan are two peas in a pod.
Sweet Zack may have been the odd man out, but he wasn't forgotten. He jumped right in with all the kids and found his place. These kids are going to have such great memories and are so lucky to have such awesome cousins!
There was no question that we were all super duper excited to be back together!
And the trip had just begun!
