Wrecked at the Reef!

Of course, immediately after Cabo and the girls trip to Florida, my girlfriend Bridgit asked if the three of us ladies wanted to head to Rocky Point for a weekend trip.  I said why ever not!  And we headed across the border.

Bridgit and her family own a fantastic condo right on the beach in Rocky Point.  It was a perfect setting for all of us and the weather was spectacular.

Morning one Bridgit and I left the girls playing to run a sweet 7 miles on the beach.  Barefoot and glorious cool weather made the run a perfect time.

The afternoon was spent paddleboarding and playing on the beach followed by tacos and the local taco shop.  Fanta and Sprite for the win too!

Day two we spent the morning shell combing after a 3 mile jaunt, we didn't find many shells, but the girls had a blast.

Then we did the best thing EVER, the DUNES!

We rented some awesome ATV's and headed out to the Dunes.  Both Kyla and Lily had a blast driving and it was so much fun out there.

We headed out to the official "Rocky Point" area and took in some of the amazing homes,  There was even a half finished castle that looked like the setting for a creepy movie.  We flew down competition hill a couple of times and took in the view.

Then found ourselves at Wrecked at the Reef enjoying margaritas, guacamole, and mozzerella sticks.

Every time I have been to Mexico I have eaten at the amazing Flavios.  This time we headed back there for a fancy night out.  The girls had hamburgers while Bridgit and I enjoyed the Shrimp cocktail, seafood niçoise and the guacamole.

We watched the sunset and then spent the evening combing the boardwalk.

Our last day was a beach day complete with mangoes on the beach (with chili...yum)

And Ice cream after dinner.  Our time together was awesome, filled with dance parties, cartwheels, castle building, wave hopping and memory making.
