I started this blog a while ago and just remembered I never finished it! OOPS......needless to say there is much going on lately......but I digress.
Mexico!
Bob plays in an awesome volleyball league and has been a part of it for a little over a year now. It has been so much fun watching him excel at this sport that he loves. I hope that one day we can maybe do a rec league together. But it would have to be a REALLY rec league.
While I headed to North Carolina, Bob took the girls down to Rocky Point for a chance to play in a huge Volleyball tournament with our dear friends the Allens. Not only do Melissa and Jeff play with Bob, but our kids are BEST FRIENDS.
Las Palomas is amazing and such a fun resort. Their room exited right onto the pool deck which was only a few feet from the beach and ocean. Man, tough gig!
Bob went full on fun Dad mode and got the girls everything from braided hair, to sunglasses, to bracelets, to little weaved bags. He says it was all about "helping the economy," but he just loved seeing his girls light up with joy. Their smiles should tell you all you need to know.
The volleyball was a blast and the kids had so much fun with their friends. Lily cried herself to sleep the first night home because she just had so much fun.
Bob has such sweet memories with his girls from this trip and came home having fully solidified his "Best Daddy in the whole world status."
