She is officially wanting to get into everything. Curiosity has thoroughly set in she loves to find new things. The other morning I was making the bed and I sat her up beside the dresser. Before I knew it she had it opened and was fishing out Daddy's underwear.
Helping him get dressed in the morning is a new hobby. I didn't have the heart to tell her that he only needed one pair and not 5. So precious.
Lily loves to sit up these days. Now that she has a little more muscle control it makes it easier for her.
She hasn't figured out how to get on her behind by herself, but she just loves it when we stick her on her bum. She looks around, reaches up, talks and mumbles, reads her books and watches Rocky with abandon. All the while precariously teetering on her little rear. Yes, she has taken some tumbles when she forgets that she has to work to sit up. Yes, there have many tears of frustration too. Guess that is what learning is all about!
We are in the process of moving again and we have been packing and living in a sea of boxes. Lily has been doing great with all of the change occurring around her. We keep telling her how awesome her new house will be because she gets to have her own room. As we have been packing, Lily has been hanging out with us and keeping us company. She is very into banging on things these days so I introduced her to pans and wooden spoons. Her whole world opened up and she loves the new discovery. Officially a drummer!
Watching her explore her world is so fascinating and such a joy. She is such a special little girl.
