We Digress

Well we are now in week 3 of our new chapter of living and in many ways all of us still feel discombobulated and out of sorts.  Trying to find our new rhythm in our new setting is proving to be challenging as always.

Before we left North Carolina we had gotten Lily well on her way to being Boo Boo (pacifier) free.  She easily said goodbye to her Boo Boo in the morning and after nap times.  Rarely during the day did she ever want it........then we moved.
Poor Lily has completely digressed in her Boo Boo progress and now has a posse of pacis that she carries around, one constantly in her mouth.  If I put them in my purse she finds them, on the counter she finds them, in her basket she finds them, in her crib she finds them.  There is literally no place that the toddler has not discovered.  Whats worse is that if the pacis are out of her reach she has a complete one track mind and screams her little sad heart out about her "Pashis."
She is so singularly focused that she just will not be distracted or dissuaded.  At this point in time I have succumbed to the toddler wishes in an effort create a sense of normalcy in this new transitional time.  Oh well, live to fight another day.
