This year the 4th of July was quite a celebration. It was the first year that we were able to celebrate as Coloradans. We all headed up to Mom and Dad's house on Tuesday for dinner and then enjoyed a day of rest, relaxation and family on the 4th.
Lily was up bright and early looking for the horses. She is absolutely enthralled with Bon Bon and the whole 4 footed gang. She just can't get her boots on fast enough. Mckenna and Kennleigh came up to so all of the cousins traipsed out to the barn for a horseback ride.
Grooming was first on the list and Lily was all about picking the horses hooves with her little blue hoof pick. Lily is getting so independent these days and she sat up on Bon Bon like a real horse woman. We took all of the girls for a jaunt up the trail and they had an absolute blast.
Most of the day was spent sitting on the back porch enjoying everyones company. Delightful.
Lily had a blast eating ice cream and getting to know everyone again.
