Spring Sing and a Star Thing

My girls are getting so big.  Just the other day Bob and I were talking about how in a little less than 4 months we will have a 1st and 3rd grader.  We have without doubt left he little stage and are on to much bigger things.  I love it, I love that we are all growing up.  Our little family is so much fun and we are really fun together.

The Spring time always marks a time of celebration and fun.  Red Mountain Ranch is no exception and we all got to take part in two really fun programs for the girls.  Evie and her classmates entertained us with their Spring Sing Festival.  So adorable.

Sorry Bee, I just couldn't help myself!
Bob had meetings in the morning so I got to be there for her.  It was cold outside so our picnic was moved indoors afterwards, but Evie was so much fun to watch.  Actually who am I kidding, 50 Kindergartners were hilarious and so much fun to watch.

A couple of days later, Lily's 2nd grade class had their Read Under the Stars Night.  Each class did a little sound performance of a book before the night and then we sat outside under the stars with our phone flashlights and read, looked through telescopes and played.

Lily's performance was so cute.  She and her friend Caleb were so excited to get a part in the program.  They were the cops in the story and they got to read part of their story in front of the microphone while the other students added sound parts.  It was fabulous and Lily did a great job.  So confident and happy.

Evie's favorite sitter, Miss Zoe!

Bob and the girls really had a great time because the East Valley Astronomy Club came to the event and brought huge telescopes and a traveling Planetarium!  It was a great evening and a celebration of Spring for us!
