Dear World

Look out, 

This little girl, this little fierce, spunky, fiery, and beautiful little girl is gonna SHAKE YOU UP.  This is Evie and she is not to be ignored. She is not afraid, she does not run, she does not back down, and does not tip toe.  You may walk on eggshells, but she stomps on them. She is not a people pleaser and is not motivated by opinion. She is like the Israelite judge Deborah, her light does not hide.

But don't worry, she is beautiful and sensitive and loves with every inch of her body. Her heart is 3 times the size of her tiny body. Her love will amaze you, inspire you, and make you feel all the hope and promise of whats possible.  You will long to know her and to be around her. You will crave her love because its real and big and genuine. But tread lightly, for she does not do fake. She will see right through you, she will not be manipulated or tricked. Her love isn't purchased or stolen.

Be expectant world, because Evie's light shines bright and illuminates what is near her. Be excited world, because her image bears the likeness of Christ who changed the world.  Be hopeful world because children like this one are being raised, and encouraged, and taught to be the light in the darkness......and the darkness cannot stand the light.

She sees you world and Evie is not afraid or taken back by you.  You can't dim her sparkle, or break her spirit.  She loves you and wants to know you.  She will fight for you and hold you up. She will be your champion because she is championed by your Creator. She is a cub of the Lion, and the Lord's strength lies in her.  Oh how the future is bright. 

If you ever feel discouraged, worried, out of control, and fearful look boldly into the eyes of this little girl and the ones just like her.  The Lord is raising up fierce Kingdom fighters who are purposed and planned to bring hope, light, and joy to the world.

Don't be afraid.......she's not.

For God has not given us a Spirit of fear,

But one of Power, of Love, and of a Sound Mind.
