Our family truly has been blessed by the addition of the Hills and Daniel to our lives. The opportunity to pour some love over this kid has really been a gift and I sure hope we can make more and more times to do it.
We love our local zoo and we invested in another membership this year, TOTALLY WORTH IT! Bob and I took the girls and Daniel the other day and we just had the best time.
While we did take the time to stop at the Tiger exhibit and find a few other animals to watch, the hit of the day was the playhouse and creek. The kids really could have just stayed there all day long.
They all ran around barefooted, built dams, collected rocks, and explored every inch of water available. Bob and I sat and watched them play. What a blast they all had.
Evie Bee and I rode the Carousel together while the big kids played tag with Bob. The zoo really was our giant playground and we just played together.
One of the highlights of the day was the Polar Bear slide, which is a big slide you ride with an inner tube. The girls love it. Daniel rode it once and said boldly, "That made my heart want to throw up!" What a great memory.
Our time with our godson was a blast and we are looking forward to more times together.
