Nine Months!

Well, it's official, Lily Grace is 9 months old today. Do you realize that in 3 short months she will be a 1 year old? The other day one of my girlfriends asked me if I was going to throw a birthday party for Lily and I thought "Well yeah, when she turns 1, but that won't be for a long time." She laughed and then told me cautiously that 3 months isn't really that long. Holey Moley, she was right, Lily Grace is almost a one year old little girl. And she is most assuredly making the transition from baby to toddler. I really feel as though I have a completely different kiddo than a month ago.

I especially noticed the change during the whole moving process. It could be that I was so busy moving and unpacking that I missed all of the change, but one day I had a little baby and the next I had a rambunctious toddler. Her learning and exploring are incredible to watch and she is such a busy little girl.

I think that the best way to show all that she is learning is through pictures so here is what miss Lily Grace has been up to for the past month:

Eating is one of her favorite pastimes. The proof is in that adorable striped belly.

The vacuum cleaner is still very scary, but she has decided to make peace with the beast.

Shopping with Mom and Dad is awesome especially because you get to lounge in the basket while Mom and Dad push you around the store. Ahhhhh, the life!

Attempting to dive off of anything high is so exciting. Lily: "Seriously Mom, you should try this, it's nothing but sheer fun!"

Bowls and cups are so cool because you can fit your face in them. Who would have thought that your voice sounds different when you talk into a cup?

Bath time is by far still the best time of the day!

Cheerios and Little Puffs are so YUMMY. Picking them up and getting them into her mouth is like a game all of its own. Who cares that she eats like 2 cups of them a day. She can feed herself and that is exciting!

However, running out of them is not.....

Although Mommy hung the moon and can fix all manner of problems, Rocky and Daddy are a close second. In fact, Rocky is about the funniest fun thing there is!

Army crawling and occasionally getting up and rocking on her knees is the best, most exciting thing ever, but these road blocks really cramp her style.

Jancsi is so fun to be around, teach, torment, bang on and stare at. Such a girl! One day she wants to hold his hand, and the next is on top of him trying to steal his pacifier, smash his face into the ground or prove that everything he does is "SOOOOOO 5 months ago!"

And finally, Mom is still the coolest!

Happy 9 Months Little one!
