The Batcave

****This fantastic event happened a couple of years ago, but it was a super special event and I just now got access to all of the pictures so its here........to take us back******

Lily and Evie were invited to The Batcave!  Okay, let me explain a bit.  This little lady right down here is a heart transplant survivor and a simply wonderful friend.  Her family is part of various support programs like "Make a Wish."  Amelia and her friends were treated to a visit at the Batcave.  A spot only very few people actually know about.  Its a special place designed to honor and love on these amazing kids and their families who have been through so much.  So we were invited and couldn't wait.

Amelia and her family rolled in style in a tinted windowed limo.  We all showed up and found ourselves in the office of the batcave not sure what to expect but anxious.

We listened to the story of the batcave and all of us couldn't wait to go in the secret lair.

After Amelia opened the super secret door, all of us got to ride the sliding poles down to the basement and into the BATCAVE!

From old school spy equipment, to telephones, to actual equipment from the Batman movies, the whole thing was filled with a kids superhero world.

The highlight of the evening was when all the kids got to take turns going for a ride in the Batmobile and the Batmotorcycle with side car.  I mean speed and all the whistles.  Such a fun evening.

Amelia is so worth celebrating and I am so grateful we got this opportunity. Its a special place.
