Her Brother

So Lily has a brother.  Bet you didn't know that?  Well, frankly, it has taken both Bob and me by surprise too.  We have confirmed over and over that she does not in fact have a brother, but Lily is ABSOLUTELY sure she does.  This brother died.  Lily doesn't know when exactly, but he did.

This brother can do a lot of things.  He likes to share and help Lily with her dolls.  He sometimes gets mad, but that is just when he is feeling silly.  He loves to ride horses and got bit by a rattlesnake one day (no he didn't die from that).  This brother of hers is quite the daredevil too as he fell out of an airplane window when they were flying one time (no he didn't die from this fall either).

Sometimes Lily's brother likes to watch girl movies, but most of the time he prefers boy ones. He is really good at puzzles but he doesn't always like to color.  Perhaps this is true because he is like "one hundred and fifty!" years old.   He used to be able to fly, but he can't anymore because he ran out of pixie dust and has legs.   Her brother has a pet, its a gardener snake because they don't bite and they just swirl in your pockets.  It doesn't have name yet.

Lily's brother eats candy for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  One day he got a stomach ache, but then he just ate more candy and felt better.  He doesn't like vegetables except for broccoli and he gets to eat macaroni and cheese any time he wants to.  Apparently he is a good swimmer, but not as good as her and really needs to take some more swim lessons.   He likes to go to the museum, rec center, zoo, playground and loves to go sledding and snowmobumblebeeling.

Lily and him visit Mor Credenza all of the time.  No we have no idea who that is, but apparently its a girl and no one but they know her.  They have fun and like to go to her house to play.  Lily's brother takes care of her and helps her do things she can't.

Both Bob and I love this brother of Lily's and have gotten so much delight out of hearing all about him.  In many ways he is the best of Lily and we can see many of her joys and hopes in him and the things he does.  Her imagination is wild right now and we love every minute.  So....welcome to the family brother!
