So, its no secret, we Longmires LOVE the river. This new discovery has lead us to hours upon hours of joy, sun, laughter, and rock jumping. Its been such a perfect fit for all of us and we cannot wait until the next weekend where we can convince anyone to come and float the river with us.
I love our community of people. We recently became fast friends with Ashly, Taylor, Nora, and Daniel. They recently got a kayak and just needed "someone who had done it" to help them get on the river. So happens, WE KNOW SOME PEOPLE.
Demetra (Miss Evie's Spanish teacher......yes our community is that cool) and her family jumped at the chance to join us the other day and we once again found ourselves floating the river amongst the masses.
And YES....we took Ellie this time! We got her a little life jacket and while she didn't love it, she didn't hate it either and managed to stay on the paddleboard better than any of the kids could! She and I rocked the adventure together and I was so excited to see us ALL out on the river.
Ashley might just be one of the coolest people I have really ever met. This woman is all about living and living boldly. Fear or no fear, she was determined to do the rock swing, and jump off every rock she could! Stick with her and you are gonna find some fun!
This day may have been just another day on the river to most, but its our story and we LOVE every chance we take and everyone that comes with us!
Plus, Lily realized that YES, she can jump off the really big rock! Till next time.
