Derek Comes for a Visit

I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I have been for this visit.  My cousin Derek is like a brother and man, I miss this guy!

It was so great for him to come out here for a week.  We did a lot of crossfit and had a BLAST spending family time together!

One day Derek and I took Memaw and Papa to the Commemorative Air Museum.  Its like Disney for Dad and even extra special because they have a C-47 aircraft on sight that still flys.

This is special because Dad Captained 347 missions aboard the Spooky C-47 missions during the Vietnam war and his service.  This aircraft brought him home countless times.  Lots of memories here.

We also enjoyed a big family reunion with all of our Arizona family.  It is such a blessing to all come together.  One of the many gifts having Mom and Dad live with us.

 The week was over so fast, and we look forward to the next time Derek (and his family) can hop out to the desert.
