RMHS HERE WE COME!

Hi Bethany, Bethany here.  Remember holding that little crying baby so many years ago thinking you were never going to make it through the baby years to age 5?  Ha.  Now that baby is going into HIGH SCHOOL.  Yeah.

Lily Grace absolutely rocked her Junior High years and is on her way to Red Mountain High School as a Freshman!

This young woman is THRIVING.  She absolutely loves school, performing, reading, and writing.  She won the Outstanding 8th Grade Honors Student award and is looking forward to journalism, debate, and so many opportunities in High School.

Lily made the High School Choir along with several of her other friends.  While she will miss the Show Choir days, I know this new experience will be amazing for her.

This lady is one cool young woman full of heart, hope, intelligence, a deep faith, and dreams.  And she can write.  Something tells me you will be able to read plenty of books by this incomparable woman in the future.

AND I CANNOT WAIT!

Welcome to High School Lily!  RMHS!!!

MURPH 2025

MURPH

1 mile run
100 Pull Ups
200 Push Ups
300 Air Squats
1 mile run

RX: with a 14# weighted vest

Its big.  I have done this workout for 2 years and this year my goal was to do it weighted.  And that weight vest changes everything.

Even with all that life is throwing at us, I decided to continue to chase this goal.  I walked with the vest and did as many workouts as I could with it before the day.

The day was the perfect day and I not only completed MURPH but came in under 50 min.

Cool Moment for me.

So Long Elementary

She did it!  Evie Frances made it through elementary school and we are officially on to Junior High. I don't feel sad that we are all done with the young years, but I did have a moment of presence about the reality of growing up.  Those years DO go by fast......so fast and the transition from kid to young woman is here.  This is Evie.........

Evie has moved into that beautiful stage of personal ownership.  She loves make up and skin care, has ideas about fashion and opinions about everything.  She is the best friend you could have and makes new ones wherever she goes.  I don't thing a day goes by that she doesn't ask for a playdate.

This kid LOVES animals and her puppy still ranks up at the top of the love list.  Gracie and Evie are two peas in a pod.  Im so thankful because Gracie is like a big emotional support animal when feelings get big.

Evie loves riding horses, playing with friends, gymnastics, singing, doing Tic Tok videos with her friends, playing Roblox.  As she moves in to Junior High the sky is the limit for where she is headed.  This kid is gonna find her niche and be unstoppable.  Im excited.

Looking forward to watching her thrive! And extra excited to have another kid in Advanced Show Choir.  Can't wait to see her light up the stage!

Showdown in the Desert

Lily's 8th Grade year can be summed up in 2 words, SHOW CHOIR!  This program has meant everything to this kid and she SHINES on stage.

The show choir got to compete in the Showdown in the Desert and absolutely crushed it.  They were so incredible that they snagged the first place spot for their division.

It has been nothing but a good time watching these incredible kids perform! ROCK OF AGES took it all!

Evie and Cowboy

Since Memaws house is so far away, Evie got the opportunity to ride and do ranching with the 7XL Ranch.  The ranch is run by my cousin's wife Charity, and man, this woman is amazing.  She takes kids of all types and teaches them to ranch, ride, and rope cattle. Evie LOVES IT.

Evie's favorite ride is Cowboy.  Cowboy has a special place in our hearts because he belonged to Pete Lewis who was a great man in our family and passed away this year.  Evie loves riding Cowboy and I am excited for next season at the 7XL for her!

SEDONA

Bob and I took the opportunity for a mini little get away thanks to my Aunt Jayne coming for a visit to help with Mom and Dad.  Our lives have been entirely shaken up AND we are doing our best to fight for the little moments amidst the chaos.

It was a lovely time even if most of what I wanted to do was sleep.  So much sleep.
The Devils Bridge was a big highlight for us.  This has been a bucket list place for a long time.  Its just so unique and so beautiful.

You know, one thing about my handstanding is that I know when I feel safe and when I don't.  Needless to say I did not do a handstand on the bridge.  I tried, and sort of got one, but it was not the time So this ledge will do!

I find in this season of life I don't take as many pictures as before.  Not because there isn't anything to remember, its just that I feel the need to be a lot more present.

We stopped at this amazing Sedona staple and briefly toured the inside.  What a beautiful holy place.  It brought me to tears for many reasons, AND was such a lovely place to do it.

The weekend ended much too soon, but we were so grateful for the little respite.
