Massacre Falls

Its been a minute since our family went hiking.  I decided to make it happen when our ski trip was derailed by a sick Memaw and Papa.  I found this amazing hike and the weather was absolutely perfect for a Sunday morning adventure.

Massacre Falls is a spectacular hike and ended at this little waterfall that was beautiful and such a fun little find.

What can I say the kid loves water and adventure.

Any time spent outside is worth its weight in gold these days especially with the summer heat on the horizon.  Excited for more hiking in our future!

Gracie Lou

This puppy is the absolute BEST.

She's HUGE now and I love it.  She is so sweet and such a love.  She snuggles and never growls or bite....ever.  She is absolutely amazing and we LOVE our Gracie Lou.

Dinner with the Comics

Its been a hot minute since Bob and I actually dated.  Something about this season, yada yada.  We finally got out and bout the town and hit up a Comic  Restaurant that I had heard about.

It was a bar and restaurant with all of the comic paraphernalia you could imagine.  They had a Star Wars area, Harry Potter area,  DC and Marvel room.  They had a Simpsons couch, HALO characters, and all sorts of great figurines.

The food was all cleverly named and the experience was so fun.

Great date night and Bob even met a Wookie!

A Tale as Old as Time

My beautiful theatre songbird got the opportunity to be in her JH rendition of Beauty and the Beast.  What an incredible production.

Lily was cast in the ensemble and played the lady with the cane (I need 6 eggs!), a wolf, a villager, and a tavern girl.

She also boldly led the mob to "Kill the Beast!"

Lily had so many wonderful people come to see her production.  I was so excited to get the opportunity to show up each and every time.  It was amazing to see her in her element and made this musical theatre lover's heart so happy.

Lily won the Wolverine award for the best rendition of a wolf.  She specialized in the skill and it was fun to watch her do her thing.  Excited for New York City with this girl and for all the upcoming musical theatre opportunities she will have!
