Camelback Mountain

The girls have been asking me to do this hike for a long time and this year we made it happen.  Such a beautiful day and such a spectacular experience with these two!

Both of these girls are incredibly resilient and it is so much fun watching them do hard things.

TOP OF THE WORLD!

And seriously, who doesn't slide down the mountain banisters??

 

Mountaineer 5k for Evie

Evie and her best buds joined the Girls on the Run program at school.  They finished their time completing a 5k race.

Bob ran with Evie and Claire while Lily and I held down the cheer/photo section.  You can tell their priorities were most definitely "the Gram."

They chased their other amigo Paityn to the finish line and had a blast.

Evie is an amazing athlete and so capable of doing really whatever she puts her mind to.  

The Bee flew across the finish line in style and earned herself a medal to boot!  Turns out those running genes run deep in our family!
