So Long Sweet Neighbors

7 years ago we pulled up into our home on Ravine excited and ready to start a new chapter of our lives.

We had left behind friends in Colorado anxiously hoping for new faces and connections in the Valley. Within a couple of days Kim and Lucas found us.  Neighbors two houses down from us and we became fast friends.  There is something so special about that first friend you make in a new place.  It sticks with you.   

This summer it was time for  them to move onto a new chapter in their lives and head to Minnesota.  Man I had mixed feelings.  Mostly excited for them, but sad.  Life moves, and changes, and time is a sneaky thief.  I am grateful for every dinner, yoga class, run, patio play date, date night, and run in.  We love the Kocaks and pray amazing things for them!

All Together in One Place

Girls, you have so many amazing people who love you.  Life is long and short all at the same time, and yet family is one of the greatest gifts.  When we were in Florida I got to take all of these lovely family photos.  There is something so special about doing this for me. Always know, your team is very big.
