Got a sweet visit with our dear friend Jenna. We decided to make a weekend of it and found ourselves out at Lake Pleasant at Paqua Park and toodled out to Tonto Natural Bridge. Jenna is always up for an adventure and we are so grateful for the opportunity to reconnect and spend time with her.

The girls see HAMILTON
For Christmas this past year, the girls got darn near front row tickets to see Hamilton here at ASU Gammage. It was a really big moment because the girls went together by themselves. We dropped them off and then picked them up when it was over. We were only a little bit nervous.
After the show we waited to get autographs from the actors. It was so much fun and the girls LOVED it!
Evie met Eliza
The girls hugged Angelica
They both found Hamilton
And Lily couldn't resist the English KING!
The night was magic and they left feeling all of the feels. The best part is that these girls can sing almost the entire show. Seriously........just ask them to rap it out. It is impressive!

Family Reunion 2024: The one at Gulf Shores
I am so deeply grateful for this family and the fact that every 2 years we make a reunion happen. Its bold and daring and takes that long to execute because we all live in states spread across the US. But when we arrive onshore at out next beach vacation and spend the week together I am reminded of how fortunate we all really are.
This year Grandpa and Grandma found an amazing spot down in Gulf Shores Alabama. I would never have thought Alabama a destination spot, but it was amazing! Our house was 3 condos all connected together. All the parents had rooms and all the kids found some roomates. It was grand.
We celebrated Grandpa's birthday while at the beach. Melissa bought a cake and we sang to him at The Hangout. This restaurant was wild. Live music, DJ and a lot of crowd participation. Bob even got selected and won the Best Dad award.
Evie did a ton of fun stuff with all of her cousins. When Lily wasn't at the beach she was reading. Of course she was.
Two of the girls practiced backflips with some help.
And kids played Grandpas favorite sport....baseball!
When not at the beach I found a local crossfit and had a week of doing what I love.
We missed having Daniel, Laura, Ezra, and Emmy with us this summer, but look forward to the next time we all can meet down on the beach.
